Callas from a real family company
Kallaland has been growing Callas since 2001.
From an early age the brothers Jan and Ton Kortekaas grew up in the agricultural sector. Their father was a real bulb grower who taught them the basics of being a grower.
A wonderful range of top quality Callas are now being produced here in the middle of the Dutch Bulb Region in an environmental friendly way.
Bulbs
Callas grow out of a bulbs. These bulbs first go into a eight degrees cooler.
A bulb can be used up to three times.
But Kallaland only uses them once to ensure the best quality flowers.
After they are planted we wait for the Callas to grow.
Callas grown on Dutch soil
All Callas by Kallaland are grown in the field.
Outdoor cultivation leads to a top quality product with a long vase life.
The Calla season runs from June to November.
