Grower visit Kallaland | Calla Inspiration 12 august 2021
Mr. LEXclusive visited Kallaland, a grower of our Supreme Selections Callas.
Kallaland is a company founded 20 years ago by brothers Jan and Ton Kortekaas.
A high-quality collection of Callas, consisting of 15 to 20 varieties and colours, is cultivated with special attention in a traditional manner.
It takes a total of five years from tuber to flower.
The greenhouse is specially designed for growing the tubers.
And after growing the tubers indoors, the flowers are grown outdoors.
And are transported to the production hall...
...to be sorted and bunched.
Some flowers want to stand out from the crowd.
