HYACINTHUS GROWER VISIT
I visited Erik de Groot. He told me everything about his Hyacinthus.
It takes three years to make the Hyacinthus! Erik plants the bulbs in September and take them out of the ground in June/July. They put the bulbs in a heat cell for eighth weeks until they are fully grown. They plant them in crates and keep them in the cooler for fourteen weeks. Then in the heat cell for five more days, then they are ready to be harvested. Then the Hyacinthus are packed and send away.

The Pantone Colour of 2022 is called ”Very Peri”.
It is a very nice purple colour.
This colour is carefully selected by Pantone.
The colour reflects on what is happening in the world.
And as we are opening up again for eachother.
This colour will come back everytime.
You will see it more often.
And in our flowers aswell.
